  7.     Not all the tennis excitement this week is taking place in
  8. Flushing Meadows, N.Y. Forgoing the sweaty action at the U.S.
  9. Open, 28 players are vying for their own title at a club
  10. outside Boston: the national men's 85-plus grass-court
  11. championship. Organizer and competitor Jim Rogers says the
  12. category was created for players who were having trouble
  13. keeping up with the 80-year-olds. "We still have the same
  14. shots. The only difference is that they can scramble around the
  15. court better than we can," explains Rogers, 89, who only got
  16. serious about the sport in his 40s.
